The kanji "人" is the most general japanese kanji that shows the person.
This kanji is a kanji in shape as for the appearance to see person's body from side. When used as the left side of the kanji, it becomes the shape of "イ", and this is called "ninben".
It introduces a lot of kanji that use "ninben" also on this site from now on.
There is word "The person cannot live alone" in the word that I know.To tell the truth, the kanji "人" also has the story of having been drawn based on that.
Because the person and the person match his back when the view is changed and the kanji "人" is seen "Support it each other" way.
I put backs together like this kanji each other and try to support it, and, world people, how will be a nucleus how before quarrelling if how is war?
Other party's importance might be understood a little if it does so.

I grow up in Japan and never heard this. I guess you used this expression to help kanji learners to recognize this character easiler, didn't you?

This is something similar to the one I was taught. This character represent two persons helping each other.
I know providing the original meaning is not your intention on this web but I prefer you to provide original meaning of kanji characters.
